What You’ll Do

The right candidate must deliver quality care consistent within the scope of practice as outlined by the local state nurse practice act for healthcare practitioners.They will be responsible for tasks, activities and functions as delegated and may make assignment of duties to others as defined in their state of practice act. They are expected to ensure that tasks, activities, and functions assigned to others can safely be performed by the person receiving the assignment based on their educational preparation. Provides monitoring of tasks, activities and functions that are assigned to others to ensure proper understanding and completion.

Rates: CNA - $20 - $26/hr

LPN - $36 - $42/hr

RN - $43 - $55/hr

OT is calculated at with 1.5, 1.4, 1.3 multiplier or an additional $10/hr (depending on facility)

Job Duties

  • LPNs and RNs will contribute to the assessment of the health status of patients based on current state nurse practice act

  • LPNs and RNs will Participate in the development and modification of a patient’s plan of care

  • Perform delegated tasks, activities, and functions that are consistent with prior educational preparation and within the scope of practice

  • Provide direct basic care to assigned multiple clients within the structure of the healthcare program at the facility

  • Provide safe and effective nursing care and assume responsibility for the care delivered

  • Implement patient education based on established teaching plans.

  • Utilize a problem-solving approach as the basis for decision-making

  • Maintain a professional attitude and demeanor at all times. Follows state policies and procedures for both the facility and Trinity Professional Staffing

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Active and unencumbered CNA, LPN or RN License

  • Possesses an active BLS certification with skills demonstration

  • 1 + years recent experience

  • Remains knowledgeable about specific state laws and regulations governing practice

  • Satisfactory completion of initial and annual clinical competencies to demonstrate aptitude as assigned by role

Physical Requirements

Clinicians must be able to perform the following:

  • Required to exert up to 50 pounds of force to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects including the human body

  • Required to kneel, stoop, crouch and/or crawl occasionally. Frequent walking throughout site; to include walking up and down flights of stairs

  • Must have and maintain sufficient strength, agility, and endurance to perform during stressful (physical, mental, and emotional) situations encountered on the job

  • Occasional running when responding to emergencies; must be able to perform BLS

Required Credentials

  • Current state issued CNA, LPN or RN license or Compact License

  • COVID Vaccination and Testing

  • Criminal Background Check

  • CPR/BLS/ACLS/PALS

  • 10-Panel Drug Screen

  • Hepatitis-B Vaccination or Declination

  • Elder Abuse Training

  • Dementia Training

  • Flu Vaccination or Declination

  • Annual HIPAA Training

  • Physical Exam

  • 2 Step TB Skin Test

  • 2 Verified References

  • Resume

  • Must complete competency exam to be approved for position
